1928 Ad Winton Diesel Engine Marine Motor Yacht Boat Guinevere Aloha Ship YYM1 XAQA3 TIN4A6B4C08This is an original 1928 black and white print ad for Diesel marine motors that were made and sold by the Winton Engine Company of Cleveland, Ohio (OH) during the Roaring Twenties era. The ad also features photographs of the USS Guinevere (IX 67) of the United States Navy (USN) and the Aloha that was owned by Commodore Arthur Curtiss James. The Guinevere was originally built as an auxiliary schooner by George Lawley & Son of Neponset, Massachusetts
