but the piece is reinforced on the back (see photos) and hangs fine

but I haven't found one with a removable copper ashtray fitted and set on top

Lovely Zane Ware Arts and Crafts Pottery Bowl in Painterly Blue and Cream found sign Measurements: 13" across at lipI love the form of a bulb bowl, low and with gracefully rounded lip, but it is the painterly blue and cream glazing on this one that really makes it for me. Gorgeous, like the swirling sea and clouded sky at once. Stamped ZaneWare on the underside, it dates to the 1920s I believe, when Peters and Reed Pottery of Zanesville, Ohio changed their name to Zane Pottery Company. 6 5 8" d x 2" t. Excellent condition, no chips or cracks or stains.
