We have only ever had a few that had the original leatherette presentation case, but this one also has the original cardboard box that it was issued in! The cardboard box is clearly marked on the top with: Nur von dem Beliehenen zu ffnen. This translates to "Only to be opened by the recipient", a typical message seen on German Empire period award boxes.
