Exceptional 19th Century Antique Crochet Sampler Book lobster and woman I assume just as aI had one crochet sampler "book" with fabric pages of this sort in the shop a couple of years ago, and have been looking at, and for, them ever since. This is the best I've held in my hands, and definitely the most extensive, with 14 fabric "pages" completely filled front and back. (There is an example in the Cooper Hewitt's collection dated 1850 that is very similar in manner, and makes me think that is likely about the age of this one here's a
