Antique Cigar Box Wood Jointed Figure with Hand-drawn Face and One Leg Lost wooden mirror shifting in nature from oneThe more time I spend with this jointed figure, crafted I'd think a century and a few decades ago from cigar box scraps, the more I love it and actually even more so I think for it's missing leg, the absence of which to me at least makes it's gestures feel rather more poignant. I especially love the effect of the old labels on the wood, very worn in some areas and not much in others, making for wonderful painterly surfaces. Plus a great pencil drawn
