This is a killer piece of WWI trench art, a long piece of an artillery shell fragment used as the grip for a fighting knife, with the crossguard made from two bullets bent to curve in a quillion style. The knife measures 12 long with a 6 blade. The knife has some wear and cracking but is a phenomenal display piece, obviously not meant to be used as a real fighting knife due to the sharp edges of the handle. A really
