Every inch of it shows the keen commitment of the "Simms" who signed it (in 1953) to capture every detail of the scene

As a stand alone piece I think it's pretty terrific

I love the combination of her strong face here with those very gestural wisps of hair. 7" x 5". Black ink on heavy card in good condition, signed lower left. With her portrait subtly framed by an off square rectangle of toning, which I quite like.
