This is a Sterling marked set of Pilot wings which were hand altered by a Glider pilot during the period. The shield was cleared off, and a stylized G was engraved onto the shield, denoting a Glider Pilot. The set has a fantastic patina, and the pin on the back is still working well. It is marked A. E. CO UTICA, N. Y. STERLING for manufacture by American Emblem
