In dark bronze, engraver marked "E. BRACKENIER" on the obverse, measuring 32 mm in diameter, clasp on its original ribbon with dual prong pinback, very light contact, extremely fine. Footnote: The medal was instituted on November 4, 1892 and awarded to native Congolese for good and loyal service to the Congo state.
