The recipient of the Spanish Cross in Bronze is Oberstckmeister Ernst Pucknat. The document is dated to Berlin on June 6, 1939, and carries Hitlers facsimile. Footnote: Oberstckmeister served in the Kriegsmarine. They were responsible for maintaining and operating a ships cannons or guns.
