Constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension, the obverse bearing a raised profile of Hans Beimlar, flanked by name, the revere bearing a map of Spain overlaid by a raised fist flanked by guns, situated above an inscription of VOLUNTARIOS INTERNACIONALES DE LA LIBERTAD 1936 1939 (INTERNATIONAL FREEDOM VOLUNTEERS 1936 1939), unmarked, measuring 35. 43 mm in diameter, weighing 25. 2 grams, in extremely fine
